The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed concerning the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie website and there's no completely functional office committed to service the area every day. The assistance point designed for intervention ordeals a higher influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to empower the servicing of all shoppers and raise use of Social Assistance expert services,” sassa the agency said.
